The short version: TallyWOD is private by default. We don’t run user accounts. We don’t collect personally identifiable information on our servers. Your workouts and history stay on your device. Apple — not TallyWOD — handles all billing.
This Policy explains how TallyWOD LLC (“TallyWOD,” “we”) treats information in connection with the TallyWOD mobile app (the “App”).
TallyWOD does not collect, transmit, or store any of the following:
The App stores your workouts, personal records, and preferences locally on your device. It also stores a consent log recording which versions of our Terms, Privacy Policy, and Disclaimer you accepted, and when. If you delete the App, this data is removed from your device.
If you’re signed into iCloud, the App writes a copy of your consent log to your private iCloud Drive container so your acceptance survives reinstalling the App. This data lives in your iCloud account; we cannot access it. You can disable iCloud syncing for TallyWOD in your device’s iCloud settings.
To record your acceptance, the App stores: the document type and version, a hash of the document text shown to you, the timestamp, your device’s identifier for vendor (IDFV — a non-personal per-vendor device identifier provided by Apple), the App and OS version, and locale. After you subscribe, the StoreKit transaction ID is added so we can link your subscription to the Terms version you accepted. This stays on your device and (optionally) in your iCloud — we do not transmit it to ourselves.
Subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store using your Apple ID. Apple shares only your subscription status (active, expired, refunded) and a transaction identifier. We do not receive your name, email, payment method, or billing address. Apple’s handling is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy.
The App integrates no third-party analytics, advertising, attribution, crash-reporting, or tracking SDKs. The only external service is Apple StoreKit for subscription management.
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
We may update this Policy. Material changes increment the version and require acknowledgment in the App. Older versions remain at tallywod.com/legal.
